I’m Megan Wilson...
a hair colorist living in North Carolina. I was born and raised in Michigan, but NC has been home since 2010. If you’re new to the area you’ll be sure to hear we have the best of both worlds.. 2 hours to the mountains and 2 hours to the coast and everyone has a favorite! You’ll find me at the coast as much as possible.
While growing up , I knew at a very young age that I was going to be a hairstylist. I was always brushing, braiding, and styling my dolls hair, and any friend or family member that would let me. During cosmetology school the skill set came naturally, but that isn’t the best part of what I do. I love to be your day maker. Just seeing the look on your face at the end of the service like you can conquer the day is why I love what I do.
When you join me in the salon, you’ll find the way we consult is very much in your court and I’ll ask the hard questions to create an overall look that works for you in your day to day life.
Instead of only having gorgeous hair on the day you sit in my chair, I’ll set you up for weeks of success between visits with my style coaching and product recommendations for YOUR daily routine.
On the weekends, you can find me spending time with my husband, Wood, and our black lab Kuechly. We might be trying out a new restaurant, binging the latest Nexflix release, or getting outside in the sunshine. If you have recommendations or need any we can swap our favorites at your appointment! During the week I start my day with a work out(run, barre, or peloton) to balance out the weekend fun and end it re watching Schitt’s Creek for the 100th time. I dabble in many activities depending on the season including golf, pickle ball, snowboarding, and paddle boarding. I’ll try anything as long as its not too serious…I’m all about having fun! But if I’m being completely honest going to The Outer Banks and relaxing on the beach is my favorite family activity!
